This is the first draft of the front cover of my digipack. I created two texts that include the name of the album and the name of the artist sticking to the conventions of CD covers that i discovered in doing research into real media products specifically the products relating to Beyonce. I used the purple gradient linking my promotional poster and digipack together so that they are recognized as linking products. I used the image that i took whilst filming for my music video whilst on location and in costume.
First Draft
This is the second draft of the front cover of my digipack. I kept everything the same apart from adding the circle shape in the right hand corner. I made it purple then changed the opacity of it making the background come through as well as the new image. I added the same text as i used for my promotional poster which was ' Including #1 Single Broken Hearted Girl' again linking all of my products together especially my ancillary texts.
Second Draft
This is the third draft of the front cover of my digipack. I decided at a late stage that i didn't like the layout of my CD front cover at all therefore changed it all. I thought the text down the side of the front cover was very unconventional and didn't look right making it not look like a CD cover which is very important because that is what is it. I changed the font and size of the font as well as changing the name of the album from black to white. This made it fit in with the pop genre a lot more as well as reflecting the innocence and purity of my artist in a deeper and more noticeable way.
